College of Business and Economics

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) is proud to be a pioneer in setting world standards through its mission, vision, and objectives, and through the development of its state-of-the-art curriculum, faculty, programs, and facilities. CBE is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The college was founded in 1985. With Majors and Minors and Internships at CBE, students can tailor their courses to further their personal interest and professional development in:

Master of Business Administration
Master of Accounting

Ph.D. in Business Administration

Qatar University's College of Business and Economics has a memorandum of understanding with Qatar Petroleum. The agreement allows students and faculty from the college of Business and Economics to conduct research with Qatar Petroleum in a variety of topics. While the Ernest and Young (EY), LLP, one of the "Big 4" public accounting firms will provide QR 10,000 annually for the best accounting student. EY will provide opportunities to train 2-3 accounting graduates of the College of Business and Economics and allow students internship opportunities during the summer.

The college have MOU with General Secretarial for Development Planning, Commercial Bank of Qatar and Salam International Company. Qatar University's College of Business and Economics has an agreement with TOTAL of France to send two College of Business and Economics graduates with 3.00 GPA to France to obtain a master’s degree at English–speaking universities.
