The Republic of Ghana's pavilion at the Expo 2023 Doha was inaugurated on Sunday, in the presence of the Expo Commissioner General Ambassador HE Bader bin Omar Al Dafa, Expo Secretary General Eng Mohammed Ali Al Khouri, and several ambassadors accredited to the State and those interested in environmental affairs and the Ghanaian community in Qatar.
Ghana's participation in the Expo 2023 Doha comes within the framework of the Ghanaian government's commitment to work to attract more foreign investments to vital sectors and provide jobs and employment opportunities, including investment opportunities in trade, energy, tourism, education, agriculture, agro-processing, roads, railways, water and public health, arts, environment and other fields.
The pavilion offers its visitors a distinctive and diverse overview of the rich cultural heritage and opportunities that Ghana promotes to attract foreign investments, especially in light of its agricultural potential, as it is one of the world's largest cocoa exporting countries, as well as investment opportunities in mining.
The pavilion also informs guests of some of the projects implemented by Ghana, within the framework of its strategy in the field of environmental sustainability and the preservation of natural resources. It also provides information about the sectors of financial and health services and food production, while highlighting Ghana's economic vision through which it seeks to achieve a comprehensive development renaissance based on sustainability of resources and rationalization of consumption.
