Amir exchanges Eid Al Fitr greetings with Arab leaders

His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged greetings with his brothers Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses leaders of the brotherly Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Fitr, through cables and phone calls.

HH the Amir also received calls and cables of greetings on the occasion from a number of leaders of friendly countries.

HH the Amir received a cable from Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem, on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, which included his congratulations and the congratulations of the Shura members on this occasion.

HH the Amir responded with a cable of thanks.

Meanwhle, Qatar Amir performed Eid Al Fitr prayers along with citizens at Lusail praying area on Friday morning.

The prayer was also performed by HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem, a number of sheikhs, members of the Shura Council, and a number of ambassadors and heads diplomatic missions in the country.

Sheikh Dr Thaqeel Sayer Al Shammari, who is a judge at the Court of Cassation and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, delivered the Eid sermon in which he focused on the blessing of completing the fast and celebrating Eid.

He highlighted the security, prosperity, and wise leadership under which they live, saying it was one of the most important factors related to society's unity, praying for unity for the Islamic Ummah.
