FIFA Arab Cup to return to Qatar: Sports minister

Minister of Sport and Youth and Chairman of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Local Organizing Committee, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani said that FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 witnessed great success and the tournament will return with a new suit in coordination with the international and Arab football associations and other parties

The minister added that all details regarding hosting the event will be announced soon.

The FIFA Arab Cupsees 16 teams from across the Arab world come together to compete. The event offers a great opportunity for competitors and spectators alike to experience the spirit of Qatar and the iconic stadiums that hosted the World Cup in 2022.

Regarding the ongoing AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, Sheikh Hamad said morethan one million two hundred thousand match tickets have been sold.

Tickets for the matches involvingQatari and Palestinian teams have been sold out, he said.
